Linda Sarris is a private chef from New York City, now working in Palermo. She started her cooking career with an internship at the Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School in Sicily right after graduating from The French Culinary Institute. Known best as The Cheeky Chef, she splits her time between cooking for female CEOs in New York and working as a food/travel consultant here in Sicily. Her newest project SNACK Sicily is an ingredient-focused guide to eating + drinking your way through Sicily like a local. Volume 1 of SNACK will be published in Spring 2019.

Our walking market experiences introduce food and wine lovers to two of the most ancient outdoor markets in Palermo. Our guests have the opportunity to chat with trusted purveyors while wandering through a labyrinth of hollering vendors, vibrant seasonal colors, and the delicious aroma of fried goodies. Market tours can either include street food tastings along the way or finish up with lunch in the Chef’s private home. Let’s experience Sicilian food culture together!

Bespoke tours are organized according to your interest in visiting vineyards, wine tastings, hands-on cooking lessons, farm visits, or just relaxing on the beach with a spritz!

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date and confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event. We accept cash euros, VENMO transfers + also credit cards with an additional transaction fee.

Depending on the amount of guests or the needs of the host, Cheeky will hire drivers, licensed tour guides, additional staff and sommeliers as needed.


Cancellations are such a bummer but we understand that shit happens. Booking Confirmation deposits are non-refundable. 

48-hour cancellation fee:

Within 2 days of your visit, there is a €250 cancellation fee plus the cost of any kitchen supplies purchased or rentals/reservations that need to be cancelled. 

Cheeky Chef reserves the right to cancel an event within 48 hours. In case of last minute cancellations, we will do our best to find a replacement guide, refund your program, or coordinate a revised plan as smoothly as possible.
